Our Spanish School has two
locations.
SB Cusco
The principal school is located
in the historical and artistic center of Inca’s capital Cusco in
Peru. The school is situated on Calle Tandapata N°688—Plazoleta
(little square) San Blas. The school can easily be found, about 7
minutes from the main square |
|
According
to your level
learn to face daily practical
situations using our language without fear. The lessons therefore are
given in Spanish by native speakers. That's also why we offer you
a family stay, voluntary work possibilities and an opportunity for
language exchange with local university students.
You’ll receive Spanish lessons
according to your current level. By giving you an assessment
examination, both oral and written, we test your current level.
Weekly examinations are offered to measure your progress. |

Group classes
are
given to a maximum of 4 persons, to ensure individual attention
as well as the positive aspects of group interaction. The persons in the
group must have the same Spanish proficiency.*
Group classes are normally 4 hours a day.**
In the morning from 8:30 to
12:50, with a break from 10:50 to 12:50 or
In the afternoon from 14:30 to
18:50, with a break from 16:30 to 16:50. |
|
Normally the first 2 hours of the group class consists of grammar
lessons, the second two hours consists of practice lessons, such as
conversation, listening, reading and writing. The teachers use different
teaching methods such as audio – visual materials, games, etc.
* Group classes normally start
on Mondays. If there aren't any persons with the same level of Spanish,
you receive individual classes, according to the group structure, for
the price of group classes.
** An hour of classes is 60 minutes. |
|
Individual classes
are more flexible, you
can take 2 hours a day or more. The classes will be tailor-made
according to your wishes. Individual lessons are a good option;
- If you only have 1 week of time and your a beginner. Then you can best
take individual lessons and focus on usefull conversation skills.
- If you want a review of different grammar items
- If there is a big difference between your oral and your written level
- If you are a professional and you want to learn specific
vocabulary related to your occupation, such as a technician or medic.
We also teach Spanish to children from 9 to 15 years old in a
special and individual way, using plays, drawings and fairy tales.

Apart from individual and group
lessons you can take semi-individual lessons or combine individual and
group lessons.
Semi-individual
lessons are possible if you are with a group of friends (maximium
4), who have the same level. You then can agree on how many hours you
would like to study and on a focus, like you would in individual
lessons. These lessons are called semi-individual lessons.
A combination of group classes
and individual classes, is possible. For example;
- the first 2 weeks in a group and the second 2 weeks individual.
- or in the morning 4 hours of group lessons and in the afternoon 2
hours of individual lessons.
Students can decide every week
which type of lessons fits best their needs. |
