Hazel Goldsmith Sábado 06/09/2008 02:08 p.m Hi paola, it was great talking with you again, i wish it were because i was going on another trip to peru. i"m sure i will go soon enough. so here"s mine and xavier"s evaluation for fredi flores and the trip. the trip overall was spectacular. xavier and i felt that as soon as we landed from the plane we were taken care of - ericson was there to pick us up and take us to the hotel, the hotel was nice (although the sound travels easily between the rooms) and so were the staff there, and so we really had a great time. the only thing about the beginning trips(city tour and sacred valley) was that they should communicate clearly with us. when they take us from the hotel and drop us off at the church in plaza de las armas, they should let us know who we need to wait for and let us know that they would not drop us off at the hotel. but other than that, we enjoyed every minute of it. mr. george was really on point with all his facts about the city and the sacred valley inca sites. about the hike - fredi was an excellent tour guide. he was very knowledgeable with the terrain, and he knew how to tend to the needs of the people in the group. he was organized and took care of everything. all we needed to say is that, "we want to hike wayna picchu," and he"d make it happen. the camping equipment and the food was good. salkantay and machu picchu were incredible and fredi, florencio the cook, and walter the cowboy really made the experience special. so thanks paola for organizing everything it was a trip of a life time. regards, mitzi Exotic

We would like to let you know that we had a fantastic experience in Peru. We were very pleased with the tour you put together. We are very impressed and appreciated the services and hospitality extended, especially by Erickson Arenas, everyone at the Garcilaso Hotel, the tour guides including Orlando(rafting tour), Sylvia(Sacred Valley tour) and Victor(Moray & Maras tour). Also, the Hanapacha Hotel in Agua Caliente is wonderful. We had the room with the Urabamba River right outside the window!
We would definitely recommend your tour to our friends & family. We hope to return to Peru soon.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to express my great satisfaction with our experience in Peru on our tour last week. Overall, we had a wonderful time--nearly everything was just great. Your representatives were always on time, helpful, friendly and great to deal with. All of our tour guides spoke very good English and all of the tours were excellent. Our accommodations in Cusco and Aguas Caliente were wonderful as were the lunches we enjoyed in Lima, the Sacred Valley and at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. The flights to and from Cusco on LAN were outstanding and we really enjoyed the train trip on PeruRail from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Caliente and back.

To Marcus, Jenny & team, Well we"re back in Australia now and as I reflect on the photos taken during
our trip I thought I should send you a short note to thank you for the manner in which our plans were initiated and executed. It is somewhat scary to send a two and a half thousand-dollar deposit to a company of which you know nothing. But I must say that the professional manner in which you communicated helped aleeve the fear and when you advised that you had a toll free Australian phone number, that further helped confirm, "you"d done this before".
From the time we arrived in Lima on May 22nd until the time we departed from La Paz on June 6th almost everything was perfect, with the guides all providing everything we required. We would recommend Peru Gateway Travel to anyone, and have already advised my Australian travel agent, and my copy of this email will remind him.
I have absolutely no problems should you wish to use this to help give others confidence.

Hola Mr. Yong I have just returned from my trip to Peru, and I had booked the 7 day Peru Adventure tour with your company. Just wanted to let you know the wonderful experience that I had. Everything was really great, all the guides were very knowledeable, friendly, and warm. The hotel in Cusco called Orquidea Real Hostel was wonderful , from it"s warm cozy room with unbelievable views of Cusco to the young staff that was so friendly and kind to this single traveler that spoke limited spanish. Also just wanted to mention the rafting trip that was just so much fun and the guide Orlando and his father Juan. Orlando was very knowelegable of the river and Inca history, and had a great sense of humor. The whole trip from beginning to end was a experience that will be with me forever. Thank you again. Jessica, What a wonderful trip we had to Peru. We really enjoyed the sights we saw on our tours of Cusco, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca areas. I really wanted to let you know how pleased we were with all our tour guides. Most of them spoke very good English. Every pick-up was on time (or even early). It was so comforting to get off the plane in a foreign country and see my name on a sign. Machu Picchu exceeded our expectations. It is so much larger then we thought from pictures or TV shows we have seen about it. The Pueblo Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The guide we had in Ollantaytambo (Guillermo) was especially good. He was very helpful with Frances (she is 82 years old) on climbing the steps there, and understood that she needed to go slowly down the hill. We also liked the Uros floating islands on Lake Titicaca, and learned a lot about how they got there. We made a couple purchases from a native lady named Delia. (Unfortunately, when we got home my dog chewed up the reed boat we bought from her. I wish I knew how I could get that replaced.) The tour of Taquile Island was almost more than Frances could handle. At 12,000+ feet in elevation and some of the steps being almost as long as her legs are, it really wore her out, but she was glad she did it. The next day she missed the tour of the Sun Island, but the beautiful catamaran was a great place for her to give her legs some needed rest.

it's been quite a bit since we came back from our journey in Peru, which we
(4 people) visited "far and wide" with the Peru Highlights 11 days tour,
offered by your agency and which we found through your web site.
As you may know, we've also filled in all the official feedback forms
provided by the different tour guides we met at each place and the overall
feedback form sent via email by one of your colleagues.
However, on top of these, we feel we want to spend a few additional words in
order to thank you (and your agency) so much for the excellent service
you've provided us with throughout the tour!
The reservation process (completed via web and phone) has been great, in
spite of our pretty short lead time, which led us to change the arrival's
dates at the very last minute (4 days before the actual arrival in Lima).
Once in Peru, in each and every city we arrived (either via plane or bus) we
found one of your representatives standing there, waiting for us and ready
to drive us to our hotels. Punctuality has definitely been one of your key
strenght!
The hotels you booked for us were absolutely wonderful: nice and clean - of
course - but also really peculiar in their unique Peruvian/Inca style, which
we appreciated a lot! Special mention goes to the Sonesta Posada in
Arequipa, to the Colca Lodge and to the Picoaga in Cusco. We really enjoyed
our stay there and the special atmosphere that we could breath!
All the tour guides were really polite, dedicated, and very well prepared on
what to tell us. On top of this, they really embodied the typical Peruvian
attitude (which we liked so much!), always smiling and ready to help you or
welcome you as a foreigner, which made our days even better... :)
Among all of them, we would like to dedicate a special recognition to
Joanna, the guide we met in Arequipa and that stayed with us for 3 and a
half days (Arequipa city tour + Colca canyon). She's been simply exceptional
in each and every aspect: extremely competent and dedicated, but also very
efficient and reliable in every situation. For example, when we encountered
an issue at the Arequipa airport (leaving for Puno) and were left off the
plane, together with other 15 tourists, because of a deplorable behaviour
from one of the Peruvian internal airline companies, among all the guides
there she was undoubtedly the one that stood up and promptly reacted to the
emergency, talking to the airline personnel, calling other contacts
elsewhere, and ultimately succeeding in getting an alternate solution for
all of us (not only the 4 of us!) to reach Puno.
All in all, our journey in Peru has been really perfect and we've enjoyed it
tremendously! We've brought back with us very nice memories of your country
and of the Peruvian people!

the terrific service you've been able to provide.

My boyfriend and I arrived home yesterday after a week of touring through

orchestrated beautifully. We never had to worry about anything. All of the

We greatly enjoyed our time in your beautiful country. Cusco was extremely
interesting. Our favorite part of the trip was our time spent at Lake
Sandoval Lodge. Our guides, William, and Marco were wonderful. They were

We had a fantastic time! Everything overall was exceptionally well handled. Peru
Gateway Travel did an excellent job accommodating our needs and handling at the
last minute our daughter's reservation to couple up to our existing plan. We
only had one snag where the weather bad and we missed our first two days at Lima
due to missing the airline flight from Houston, which we made up at the end of
the trip. The Lima Airport is under construction so when we arrived from Houston
it took 2 hours to get our luggage and pass through customs. I had to call the
emergency phone numbers to have someone get in contact with Gustavo and Paula
Araya since they were not at the gate once we got through the airport lines.
Other than that everything else when really well. I will leave a nice message on
